The number one change I wanted to focus on was making sure that the Donate button was the first thing the site visitor saw when they landed on the page.
In the original design, the Donate button was buried under text. I wanted to make sure that the call to action was front and center. Also, because the "Cover Fees" option is important, I keep that at the top but gray it, make it smaller and put it just below the Donation button so it's present but not too much in the way.
Future considerations are whether or not we can embed the Tithe.ly form rather than have the site visitor click it to summon a modal.
Just below the donate button is some quick information about where the user should look if they run into issues.
Another goal for this page was making the text more organized.
It's true that the average site visitor doesn't read, but when you have no choice but to write, using headers, bullets, bolding, etc. can make the difference between unstructured word salad and structured, easy-to-parse instructions.
This is a compromise. I personally don't think mobile instructions are relevant or necessary for this page, but it was requested.
I decided it would best be located as small by-the-way text at the bottom of the page.
